Writing Groups - A Way To Cut Down On Editing Fees
Writing Groups
First off, let me explain what a writing group is . . .it's simply a group of writers who get together on a regular basis (once a week or twice a month) to read and critique each other's work.
The group doesn't have to consist of "professional" writers, simply people who write, are serious about their writing, and want to get feedback on what they write.
My writing group started in 1999, and at the time none of had a book published. Since then we've had four published writers emerge from the group.

EROTIC STREET
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Philadelphia (Dec. 3, 2008) - Move over Zane, Mary Morrison, and Noire, there’s a new erotica writer on the scene, and she’s poised to take over!
Shay -- a pseudonym for a 21-year-old New York native -- will be releasing her debut novel, Raw: An Erotic Street Tale in January, and the streets are already buzzing.
“I’m a little in shock. Here I am still in school, and already I have my first book being published,” Shays says. “I feel very blessed. A little overwhelmed, but very blessed.”
Raw tells the story of Chastity Jones, a 19-year-old Harlemite who, after being brutally raped, starts playing
The Dope on Literary Agents (and some agents I recommend!)
The Dope on Literary Agents
First of all, what is a literary agent?
He or she is a person who presents a writer's work to a publishing house, negotiates the writer's contract, and acts as an advocate for the writer and a go-between for the writer and the publishing house.
An agent normally gets a 15 percent commission of the writer's contract. If an agent is asking for more than 15 percent they should give you a damn good reason why!
And please remember, no reputable agent will EVER ask you for money out of your pocket. The agent should not get paid unless they get you a contract, and then they get their money off the top. The publisher

The Federal Court authorized this Notice. This is not a solicitation from a lawyer.
• A Proposed Settlement has been reached in three class action lawsuits involving certain HP printers. The first lawsuit (Ciolino) claims that certain HP inkjet printers used "low on ink" messaging technology to indicate that replacement of a cartridge is needed when the cartridge is not empty and is capable of additional printing, and that this technology confused customers into prematurely replacing their inkjet cartridges. The second lawsuit (Rich) claims that certain HP color inkjet printers used color ink in addition to black ink when printing black text and images without disclosing this to consumers and without providing consumers with the
